Jette Named to Chicago Area Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame
Lorraine Jette has been named to the Chicago Area Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame. Jette is founder and president of Waukegan, IL-based fulfillment company Jett Services, L.L.C., a Diamond Marketing Solutions company.
Jette founded Jett Services in 1983 in the basement of her home, providing most of the labor with the assistance of her family. The company began as a supplier of lettershop services, such as literature and premium fulfillment and direct mail campaigns to major pharmaceutical and healthcare companies. Today, Jett Services is housed in a technologically advanced, 110,000-square foot facility and employs more than 50 people.
The award, which recognizes innovators and leaders in the region, was presented to Jette at a ceremony in Chicago in early March.
Established in 1984 at the University of Illinois at Chicago, the Chicago Area Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame is the oldest and most prestigious program honoring Chicago-area entrepreneurs.
