Crosswalk.com, a division of Chantilly, VA-based Didax Inc., has signed an agreement with JAM Productions, to provide event promotions, exclusive marketing initiatives and online ticketing services in exchange for sponsorship funding and participation in ticketing revenues. JAM promoted live Christian events in the country and will be marketing dates from such artists as Amy Grant, Michael W. Smith, and the Newsboys via the crosswalk.com Web site.
Crosswalk.com and JAM plan to promote the Web site at over 300 live Christian music concerts and festivals through December 1999. Print, broadcast and event-based advertising is expected to reach a live audience of over 1.5 million concertgoers as well as generating 20-30 million gross media impressions for crosswalk.com prior to the events.
Crosswalk.com site visitors and members can tap into channels targeting music, personal finance, and careers (in beta version), and lifestyle channels focusing on issues for men and women. Services offered range from free Web access filtering and a full-Web filtered search engine to online shopping, family-friendly movie reviews, games, chat, forums, local events, news, free email and more.
