E-Dialog, a provider of e-mail services, has formed a strategic partnership with the Interpublic Group of Companies.
The Lexington, MA-based firm will receive a significant capital investment from Interpublic Group, and from venture capital firms Commonwealth Capital and OneLiberty Ventures.
The investment will help E-Dialog deploy a variety of services, including one that will enable clients to conduct secure e-commerce transactions entirely via e-mail. The firm was founded in 1996.
The Interpublic Group consists of advertising agencies, communications services companies and related firms operating in 127 countries. It reported over $30 billion in billings for 1998.
