Foster City, CA-based infoUSA.com Inc. said it will offer Web domain name registrations directly from the company’s small business portal site, infoUSA.com.
New registrants will receive the company’s white and yellow page directory services. Businesses will also be able to instantly create an e-commerce-enabled web site, and to design and implement direct e-marketing campaigns.
infoUSA.com will add to its proprietary database of 12 million businesses with these unique domain name listings.
In October, infoUSA.com received approval from ICANN, the nonprofit organization in charge of overseeing the Internet’s name and address system, to sell domain name registrations.
