Illinois has filed suit against several online pharmacy firms that it says aren’t licensed to practice in the state. The suit seeks to block the defendants from selling drugs to Illinois residents, according to wire service reports.
The companies are ExPressMed Services Co. and Express Today Inc. of Chandler, AZ; MD Healthline, Phoenix; DVM Enterprises, Midlothian, VA; and Male Clinic, Los Angeles.
“Prescription medicines should only be dispensed under the care and supervision of properly licensed doctors and pharmacies,” said Illinois attorney general Jim Ryan in a statement.
