Henry Schein Inc. reported net income of $45.2 million for the second quarter, up from $37 million last year.
The healthcare supplies direct marketer reported net sales of $1.22 billion for the quarter ended July 1, up 10.5% from net sales of $1.1 billion last year.
“Our second quarter financial results were bolstered by the contribution of several strategic acquisitions,” said Stanley M. Bergman, CEO of the Melville, NY firm in a statement.
