Ha-Lo Sees Earnings at Half of Analysts Estimates

Promotional products direct marketer Ha-Lo Industries, Niles. IL, Inc., said earnings for the second-quarter and the next two years will fall short of analysts’ estimates as customers delay marketing programs.

The company reportedly expects per share earnings for 1999 of 40 cents, half the 80-cent average estimate of First Call. Similarly, the company expects 2000 earnings of 55 cents, below the $1.01 average estimate of analysts. Ha-Lo said it expects revenue for 1999 and the second quarter to fall short of expectations.
