Florida State University has launched the first Hispanic marketing education program in the U.S.
The school’s Center for Hispanic Marketing Communication offers a graduate certificate and undergraduate minor programs in Hispanic marketing. The center is led by Felipe Korzenny, an FSU professor of advertising and integrated marketing communication.
The Center will collaborate with research firm Yankelovich on the Yankelovich MONITOR Multicultural Marketing Study, and with Cheskin Hispanic research and consulting, co-founded by Korzenny. Students at the Tallahassee campus can take Hispanic marketing as an undergraduate minor, or earn a graduate-level certificate.
Korzenny had been president of Hispanic & Asian Marketing Communication Research before founding Cheskin in 1999; the two firms merged that year.
