Cataloger Foster & Gallagher Inc.’s Horticulture Group, which includes Michigan Bulb Co., Sprint Hill Nurseries, Breck’s, Stark Brothers and Flower of the Month, has promoted three executives to newly created positions.
Jim Paauwe, who had been vice president of advertising and production for the Peoria, IL-based company, is now senior vice president of advertising. Paauwe will be responsible for all advertising and print production for Foster & Gallagher’s 13 horticulture and hardgoods catalogs. He will continue to support production of the Children’s and Gift Groups. He joined Michigan Bulb Company 14 years ago.
Donna Schillaci, who joined Michigan Bulb in 1990 as a marketing analyst, has been named vice president of marketing. Schillaci is responsible for new customer acquisition and space advertising, and will continue to oversee the group’s marketing in Canada.
Daniel Jones is now general manager of the group’s hardgoods businesses, which includes marketing and merchandising responsibilities. Prior to joining Michigan Bulb in 1989 as marketing vice president, Jones held marketing positions at other leading direct marketing companies.
