Ford Motor Co. has hired PowerPact to generate interest in its campaign to help fight breast cancer.
Events are being planned for 115 Susan G. Komen foot races around the country where branded tents, flags and Ford vehicles will be set up.
The events will promote the Warriors in Pink for Ford Motor Co. campaign, which features apparel for men and women that bears symbols that signify the hope, strength and unity needed in fight against cancer. The apparel is available for sale on
FordCares.com and 100% of the net proceeds will benefit Komen for the Cure. At the events, reps will distribute Warriors in Pink bandannas, tattoos and other items.
Crystal Greene, Ford sponsorship and alliances coordinator, cited PowerPact’s strong track record with the Komen network in the decision to hire the agency.
Ford launched the Warriors in Pink campaign last year. The company is marking its 113th year as a national series sponsor of the Komen Race for the Cure.
