Entry Fees
The price of each primary entry is $450. Each additional entry after the initial entry is $299. A late fee of $199 will be applied to entries submitted between September 19 and September 24. Payment in full must accompany the entry. Entry fees are not refundable.
Submission Requirements
Campaigns & Content Initiatives
All campaigns or content marketing initiatives entered must submit a synopsis describing the work, including the following areas:*
- Objectives
What was the goal of your campaign or content initiative?
- Research & Insights
What data, audience insights, or market research informed your strategy?
- Strategy
What was the thinking and strategic approach behind your campaign or content initiative?
- Execution
What actions, channels, and content formats were used to implement the campaign? How was your content delivered to your audience?
- Evaluation of Success
How was success measured? Share metrics, KPIs, and outcomes that demonstrate the effectiveness of your content marketing efforts.
- Supporting Materials
Include materials that best showcase your work, such as:
- Campaign content (articles, blogs, social posts, emails, videos, podcasts)
- Websites or landing pages
- ROI or engagement metrics
- Media coverage
- Press releases or PR materials
- Testimonials or case studies
- Analytics or research documents

- Who can enter?
The PRNEWS Content Marketing Awards are open to individuals and teams worldwide at for-profit and non-profit organizations, including corporations, PR agencies, public affairs and IR agencies, publicity firms, associations, government entities, and solo practitioners.
- Can international campaigns enter?
Yes. Entries are open globally. Campaigns executed outside the U.S. are eligible as long as some activity occurred during the eligibility period.
- Can I submit multiple campaigns or pieces of content?
Yes. Each campaign or content initiative must be submitted separately with its own synopsis, supporting materials, and entry fee (if applicable).
- How are entries judged?
Entries are evaluated based on creativity, strategic planning, innovation, execution, and measurable results. Judges look for initiatives that engage audiences, amplify brand messages, and demonstrate excellence in content marketing for PR.
- What are the eligibility requirements?
To be eligible, the campaign or content initiative must have taken place (in part or in full) between September 1, 2024, and September 1, 2025. Work does not need to be fully completed during this period, but some activity must fall within the eligibility window.
- How do I increase my chances of winning?
Clearly articulate your campaign goals and measurable achievements. Provide concrete examples of success, and describe your research, planning, execution, and results in a clear and concise manner. Highlight creativity, innovation, and impact in your content marketing strategy.
- Is there a word limit for submissions?
Yes. Each section of the application—Objectives, Research & Insights, Strategy, Execution, Evaluation of Success, and Supporting Materials—has a 300-word limit. Keep responses concise and focused.
- Can agencies enter on behalf of clients?
Yes. Agencies may submit entries for client campaigns. Clearly indicate the client, the agency’s role, and any collaborative partners.
- When will winners be announced?
Winners will be announced in Winter 2025. Specific dates will be communicated to entrants.
