DMA to Host International Council Day

The Direct Marketing Association is offering a one-day seminar focusing on international direct response campaigns on June 18. The event will feature case studies from a number of marketers, including Capital One, Ford Motor Co., National Geographic and UNICEF, on developing profitable markets overseas.

The event, DMA International Council Day, will also include a workshop covering international accounting issues, joint ventures and organizational set-up, as well as a breakout session with round-tables discussions covering e-commerce, international payment solutions, mailing lists and postal issues.

The cost for the event, which also includes a wine and cheese reception at the end of the day, is $199 for International Council members, $299 for DMA members and $399 for non-members. The event will be held in the DMA

The Direct Marketing Association International Council will host a one-day seminar titled “The DMA International Council Day 2003 — Successful Strategies in International Marketing: A Day of Case Studies” on June 18 at its New York City headquarters.

Case studies from National Geographic, Ford Motor Company, Capital One and UNICEF will highlight how these organizations are developing profitable markets overseas. The day will also feature round-table discussions on e-commerce, international payment solutions, mailing lists, and postal issues and a special workshop focused on international accounting issues, joint ventures and organizational set-up.
