Ben Isaacson has resigned from the Association for Interactive Marketing, effective Sept. 13, the Direct Marketing Association has confirmed.
He plans to pursue a career as an e-mail marketing consultant, according to Christina Duffney, spokesperson for the DMA.
Isaacson, who announced his decision to the AIM advisory board this morning, plans to stay on through the transition period.
The DMA is already pursuing a search for a replacement, Duffney said.
DIRECT Newsline reported yesterday that Isaacson planned to leave.
