Direct Media Inc., Greenwich, CT, has merged with Paradysz Matera in New York.
The companies will operate independently while sharing resources. Plans call for moving slowly in integrating operations, Direct Media CEO Dave Florence said.
A holding company will oversee the two businesses, said Chris Paradysz, CEO of Paradysz Matera.
“The companies have both overlapping and complementary resources, and together will represent a dominant, industry-leading force across the spectrum of direct marketing services,” the companies said in a statement.
Operations at Direct Media include: list management, private and cooperative B-to-B prospecting databases; a full-service international marketing agency and Canadian media and marketing service based in Toronto.
Paradysz Matera has developed proprietary, state-of-the-art analysis and research tools that supports a brokerage operation for print, direct mail, digital, and alternative media.
Additional Paradysz Matera resources include: proprietary, original list and other direct response media research; MarketRelevance, an on-line competitive promotional analysis product, driven by over 200,000 scanned images, with over 30,000 new pieces scanned each year; analytical technology specialists in cost-effective predictive modeling and transactional consumer databases; centralized negotiations and ECLS, a fast growing business set up to serve small volume direct marketers.
The companies have offices in New York City, Greenwich, Minneapolis, Chicago, San Francisco, Kansas City, New Jersey, Arkansas and Toronto.
