Cataloger Crossing Pointe will part ways with actress/designer Jane Seymour in September.
The firm, a division of Blair Corp., said yesterday that it will not renew its contract with Seymour to sell her Signature Collection through its catalog and Web site.
“As our businesses mature, Crossing Points and Jane Seymour have mutually agreed to pursue other directions,” said Lewis Shapiro, vice president-general manager for Crossing Pointe, in a statement.
The Warren, PA-based company has been developing its own value-priced private label lines designed for baby boomers.
Seymour said in a statement that she will pursue other retail distribution channels.
Crossing Pointe was launched by Blair in 2000. Blair has annual sales of over $580 million.
