Advanstar Communications Inc., Cleveland, handed over the balance of its files to be managed by Chessie Lists Inc., Silver Spring, MD. Up to now, Chessie oversaw 75% of Advanstar’s files.
The acquisition, effective July 1, involves about 2.1 million subscriber and expo attendee names from publications including Pharmaceutical Executive, Pharmaceutical Technology, Applied Clinical Trials, Managed Health Care and 17 others.
Advanstar, a business information company, publishes 110 magazines and directories and produces conferences and direct marketing, database and reference products.
