Computer equipment direct marketer CDW Computer Centers Inc., Vernon Hills, IL, reported net income for the quarter ended June 30 rose 43% to $22.3 million from $15.6 million in the second quarter of 1998.
Net sales for the quarter increased 46% to $597.5 million from $408.9 million in the same period of 1998.
Net income for the six months ended June 30 was $42 million, a 38% increase over $30.4 million reported in the first six months of 1998. Net sales for the period increased 43% to $1.14 billion from $793.5 million in the same period of 1998.
