CDW Computer Centers Inc., the computer direct marketer based in Vernon Hills IL, reported net income for the quarter ended Dec. 31 rose 63% to $29.9 million from $18.3 million in the fourth quarter of 1998.
Net sales for the quarter increased 55% to $741.3 million from $477.2 million in the same period of 1998.
For the year ended Dec. 31, net income was $98.1 million, a 49% increase over $65.8 million reported in the same period last year.
Net sales for the year increased 48% to $2.561 billion from $1.733 billion in the year ended 1998.
