A direct mail campaign will support a new joint marketing agreement between CapitalBank and Nationwide Insurance.
Customers of CapitalBank’s Greenville, SC will receive the initial prospecting pieces, which will promote auto insurance. While the program will be offered to all customers, it will concentrate heavily on the area’s Hispanic population, said Holly Faulkner, a spokesperson for CapitalBank. Direct mail pieces will be in both English and Spanish.
After the initial rollout, the bank’s 13 other locations will be phased into the program one at time, said Faulkner.
The campaign begins Nov. 1. Customers who have an open account with Greenwood, SC-based CapitalBank will be referred to Brian Spears, an agent of Nationwide, for a quote on discounted auto insurance if they qualify. Likewise, existing Nationwide policyholders that are not CapitalBank customers will be referred to the bank to obtain an account.
