BuyItNow Inc., Tulsa, OK, has launched a “WebPlaza” at its site (http://buyitnow.com) with individual, product-specialized stores. The company has opened five stores, with five additional ones to launch over the next three months.
The stores are housed on a single Web site and are linked with a single shopping cart that interfaces with all the stores. “Buyitnow.com is not another on-line mall that links to numerous stores that pay to advertise,” Randy Jo Wilcox, chief development officer of BuyItNow Inc., said in a statement. “All BuyItNow! stores within the WebPlaza are owned and operated by BuyItNow.”
Stores currently open include electroniccentral.com (electronics); forakid.com (toys & children’s products); housedecore.com (decorative housewares); forthekitchen.com (kitchen & gourmet food); yourhomecenter.com (home improvement).
Additional BuyItNow! stores to come online include toolingaround.com (tools); gift-o-rama.com (gifts); thesportplace.com (sporting goods); outdoorliving.com (patio and lawn & garden); and cdsandmovies.com (music & movies).
