BJ’s Wholesale Club Brings Back Retired Marketing Exec

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. has made several changes to its leadership team.

Ed Gillooly, 57, is returning from retirement to assume the role of senior vice president of marketing and membership, a post he held for 11 years until he retired in 2002. During that period, BJ’s grew from 25 to 140 clubs. Alison Corcoran, formerly executive vice president of member insight and marketing, has left the company.

Laura Sen, 50, has been named executive vice president of merchandising and logistics. She had worked as the company’s executive vice president of merchandising and logistics from 1997 to 2003. She succeeds Paul Bass, 63, who will retire in February after 15 years.

In addition, Frank Forward, executive vice president and chief financial officer, has agreed to extend his tenure for another three years, the company said.

BJ’s operates 171 wholesale clubs in the eastern U.S.
