Customers who register for Best Western’s NASCAR-themed loyalty program will earn a chance to attend a NASCAR race—one entry for every night they spend in a Best Western lodging, through Oct. 6.
Registrants in the Speed Rewards loyalty program will rack up one sweepstakes entry for every night they spend in one of the chain’s 4200 hotels and motels worldwide.
Winners will be chosen in a random drawing and will get a VIP experience for two at the NASCAR Busch Series race in Phoenix on Nov. 10. The package includes airfare, Best Western accommodations, car rental and tickets to the Best Western suite at the racetrack.
Customers who have not yet signed on to the Speed Rewards loyalty program will also earn one entry simply for registering.
Launched in March 2004, Speed Rewards targets autoracing enthusiasts and is, according to Best Western, the first loyalty program to cater to a specific customer demographic.
“As the official hotel of NASCAR, Best Western hosts thousands of race fans, not only during the season but throughout the year,” senior marketing and sales vice president Dorothy Dowling said in a statement.
Program members can earn points toward NASCAR-licensed merchandise, free room nights at Best Western outlets around the world, and dining, entertainment and shopping certificates.
