Digital marketing solutions provider Atlas announced that it will partner with Tandberg Television, which offers a platform for video on demand (VOD) and an ad management platform.
Atlas, a division of aQuantive, will integrate its Atlas On Demand automated campaign management platform with Tandberg’s AdPoint platform to place ads in cable VOD. Ad agencies will be able to plan, buy, execute, optimize and measure VOD campaigns. In turn, the partnership will offer cable operators and network programmers to manage dynamic ad placement efficiently.
The two companies anticipate that the deal will address some of the problems currently constraining VOD advertising, including multiple sellers and data standards, long creative lead times, limited copy rotation and program-specific metics.
“Teaming with Tandberg Television advances Atlas’ mission to address the digital needs of our agencies and advertisers,” said Jay Schiller, vice president of business development for Atlas on Demand.
Atlas already has relationships with two other VOD platforms, C-COR and SeaChange.
