America Online, Inc., the Dulles,VA-based interactive services company, has teamed up with ticketing service Ticketmaster, to provide greater access to event ticketing, movie ticketing, and personals services for online consumers.
Under the multi-year agreement:
*Ticketmaster’s event ticketing services will be distributed to users of all America Online brands through a new “AOL Box Office By Ticketmaster,” that will offer consumers an extensive inventory of tickets to concerts, theater and sporting events, performing arts and more
*Ticketmaster’s local city guides will offer AOL Moviefone’s movie information and ticketing
*Ticketmaster’s Match.com will be the premier provider of personals to America Online’s Love@AOL, and the Match.com service will be offered across AOL, AOL.com, CompuServe and Netscape.com.
