America Online Inc. has reached a definitive agreement to acquire InfoInterActive Inc., an Internet call management services provider for $28.2 million.
Under the terms of the agreement, AOL will acquire all of the outstanding shares of InfoInterActive for $1.42 for each share of InfoInterActive. The transaction has been unanimously approved by the board of directors of InfoInterActive.
InfoInterActive’s operations will continue to be based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada where it will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of America Online Inc.
