Amplify Brand Entertainment Unit Makes its Debut

Specializing in product placement, Amplify has been created as a result of the merger of J. Walter Thompson’s Brand Entertainment Group and Hill & Knowlton’s Showcase.

Amplify, an expanded brand entertainment development and placement practice, specializes in the integration of brands into all aspects of entertainment including film, TV, gaming, magazines, books and music via the creation of original brand content as well as product placement. Its services include planning, creative support, ideation, metrics, entertainment industry relations, negotiations, legal and business affairs.

Amplify’s principle client is Ford Motor. The company, led by executive director Rob Donnell, is headquartered in Los Angeles, with offices in Detroit and New York.

J. Walter Thompson is a 140 year old advertising agency brand. Its parent company is WPP.
