Internet media and technology company 24/7 Media Inc., has reported fourth-quarter revenue totaling $37.1 million, a 53% increase over the third quarter of 1999 and a 275% increase over the fourth quarter of last year.
The quarter ended Dec. 31.
The company also reported a net loss of $13 million, compared to a net loss of $6.8 million for the prior-year quarter. For the full year, the company reported a net loss attributable to common stockholders of $39.1 million, compared to $25.4 million for the prior year.
E-mail revenue grew 120% sequentially to $5.4 million, driven by rapid growth in the number of permission-based e-mail addressees under management, which grew to 15 million by year end and has subsequently grown to more than 20 million.
International revenue continued its growth as well, increasing 187% sequentially to $4.6 million, or 12% of total revenue.
