Verizon Wireless Offers Vanity 800 Numbers to Agents

Verizon Wireless is working with 800response and TacPoint Wireless Inc. to offer a new direct response service to its agents.

Authorized agents can now set up a vanity 800 number, using their co-op advertising dollars. To do it, they have to go online to the new Verizon Wireless Co-op Resource Center.

The new package will allow agents to increase response rates to their advertising, track leads and build a lead database, according to Verizon.

They can also go online to redeem their co-op ad money.
