Unisys has been awarded a three-year contract extension for administering New Jersey’s Medicare program, including call center services.
The $126 million contract includes options for two additional years at the discretion of the state. The potential value of the contract would be $212 million if all options are exercised.
Unisys operates the state’s Medicare call center for provider inquiries and a pharmacy call center for clinical pharmaceutical reviews.
The company has administered Medicare services for the Garden State since 1989. It provides services for more than 1 million enrolled recipients and processes more than $7 billion in annual benefits.
