Velocity Sports & Entertainment has named David Vinturella as VP-engagement manager of the Cingular Wireless account. The appointment took effect Aug. 8.
He will oversee all aspects of the account including strategy development, property evaluation and leveraging the portfolio.
Most recently, he worked on negotiating and selling sponsorship properties at Envision/Wasserman Sports/LA Avengers. He has also worked at the GEM Group on such accounts as FOX sports and Coca-Cola and at Turner Broadcasting System as the director of sports marketing and promotions.
Velocity Sports & Entertainment is based in Wilton, CT.
