Six trade organizations have banded together to form the Marketing Association Alliance, which will make its debut at the third annual Promotional Marketing Exhibition on www.promotionalmarketingexhibition.co.uk April 15-17 at the Olympia exhibition hall in London.
The Alliance consists of: the British Promotional Marketing Association (BPMA), Direct Marketing Association (DMA), Institute of Sales Promotion (ISP), Point of Purchase Advertising International (POPAI), Independent Print Industries Association (IPIA) and Voucher Association (VA).
They will have a joint presence at the show, where they’ll share a stand. Members of each association will be present to offer advice and information on a wide range of marketing related topics to visitors who will comprise senior marketers, buyers and decision makers from both private and public sectors.
The formation of the Alliance was spearheaded by BPMA director general Gordon Glenister, whose aim was to get each group share knowledge and experience, as well as learn more about each other’s disciplines and how they all form part of an integrated marketing campaign.
The conference portion of the event will feature a panel discussion among representatives of each organization to discuss and debate “How to run a successful integrated marketing campaign” with members of the audience.
