Irvine, CA-based QSR giant Taco Bell last week handed the merchandising end of its marketing duties to New York City-based FCB Worldwide’s Southern California office. Billings associated with the duties were identified as "multi-million dollar" in a statement.
FCB’s Costa Mesa, CA-based group will develop a major new merchandising program to debut inside Taco Bell’s 5,000 stores next month. The effort will feature P-O-P and other in-store elements. FCB was awarded the QSR’s national ad account earlier this year.
Taco Bell is a $5.2 billion unit of Tricon Global Restaurants. FCB Worldwide is the fifth-largest ad agency in the world with billings in excess of $8.8 billion. The shop’s Costa Mesa office generates billings of $450 million annually.
