Silver Apple Awards were presented by the Direct Marketing Club of New York to several industry leaders at a ceremony Friday.
The honors, which are given for 25 years of distinguished service to direct marketing, went to:
Betty Anny Cooper, senior vice president and director of strategic services for MRM Worldwide
Dr. Marjory Kalter, clinic professor with New York University
Jon Lambert, CEO, Action International
John Papalia, President, Statlistics
Markus Wilhelm, partner, AKS Marketing & Media
Caroline Zimmermann, president The Zimmermann Agency
In addition, a Golden Apple award was presented to James W. Prendergast, president of J.W. Prendergast & Associates, for 50 years of service.
This year’s corporate Silver Apple went to Penton Business Media, publisher of Direct and Multichannel Merchant. The award was accepted by Group Publisher Leslie Bacon.
