Salesforce.com will acquire Sendia Corp., a wireless technology firm, for $15 million in cash. The transaction marks Salesforce.com’s first acquisition.
Salesforce.com’s AppExchange Mobile allows consumers to run software on both personal computers and mobile devices without needing to generate additional software code.
Sendia, which is based in Santa Monica, CA, employs 25 people and had shared its entire customer base with Salesforce.com before the acquisition.
