The Draper, UT-based firm’s sales would have been lower had it not been for repeat sales. In first quarter 2002, repeat customers made up 79% of its sales, up from 62% a year earlier.
Internet sales grew to $17.1 million, or 41% of 1-800-Contact’s sales, up from $16.3 million, or 38% of its sales, a year earlier.
