CMP Media LLC has named Rubin Response Management Services Inc. to manage five opt-in e-mail files.
The files include Information Week (with 100,000 e-mail addresses); Internet Week (with 70,000); Network Computing (82,000); TechWeb (23,000); and Windows Magazine (2,000). All are preliminary counts of opt-in e-mail addresses. The appointment took effect Feb. 25.
In addition to the individual files, the firm plans to create seven to 10 new databases with postal and e-mail addresses compiled from a combination of Internet Week, Information Week and Network Computing within the next week, said Scott Wells account executive at Rubin Response, Schaumburg, IL.
Rubin also manages other CMP Media opt-in e-mail files including Business Intelligence, Call Center, Communications Convergence, Intelligent Enterprise, M-Business, Software Development and Transform Magazine.
The files were formerly managed by NetCreations' Postmaster Direct division.
