RedEnvelope Reports 71% Increase in 2002 Revenue

The San Francisco-based company projects fiscal 2003 revenue to increase by another 50%. RedEnvelope has more than 850,000 customers. In fiscal 2002, the company increased its catalog circulation; sales of proprietary products comprised half of all sales.

"RedEnvelope is poised to move into its next phase of growth as we maximize our brand strength and reputation for stylish gifts at approachable price points," said Alison May, recently appointed president and CEO in a statement.
