Promotions.com Inc., a New York-based Internet marketing firm, will reduce its work force by 13%, and will take a one-time charge of between $500,000 and $1 million.

The company will also restructure its business, merging its Direct division into its Webstakes.com division. Its Custom Solutions division is its other business unit. The Webstakes.com division will continue to offer all products and services formerly provided by the Direct division.
