The company attributed its higher margin levels to its direct-from-the-grower business model.
According to Proflowers, repeat customers made up 43% of its business, and revenue per order rose 6%, from $50 to $53. Additionally, the company acquired 173,000 new customers during the Valentine’s Day season.
