Pierce Promotions & Events has hired Mark Filiault as senior VP to oversee business development for the Portland, ME-based agency.

Filiault had been VP-associate director of promotions for customer relationship management agency Digitas. He joined Pierce on Sept. 1 and is based in New York.
Filiault has 15 years of event marketing and promotions experience, including work for many Fortune 500 companies, the agency said.
The agency also has offices in Los Angeles and Bentonville, AR. Digitas is based in Boston.
