· Marketing services provider Harte-Hanks has added three members to the marketing strategy team of The Agency Inside Harte-Hanks division. Jennifer Pineda-Bodnar and Patricia Crowell were named vice presidents, strategy and business development; Leslie Schultz is now senior director, digital strategy.
· Carlos Alberini was named co-CEO and a director of Restoration Hardware, a home furnishings cataloguer/retailer. He will share CEO responsibilities with chairman Gary Friedman, focusing on operations, finance, inventory, IT, stores, and HR. Alberini was previously president/chief operating officer for Guess?, where he remains a member of the board of directors.
· Walter Killough, chief operating officer of Delia’s, was named CEO, effective May 14. He succeeds Robert Bernard, who is stepping down to “pursue other opportunities,” according to a release. Delia’s is a cataloger/retailer of apparel and accessories for teenage girls and young women.
· The American Catalog Mailers Association (ACMA) elected its board of directors for 2010. Allen Abbott of Paul Fredrick MenStyle was elected chairman; Martin McClanan of Orchard Brands, vice chairman; Mark Taxel of Positive Promotions, treasurer; John Seebeck of Crate & Barrel, secretary; Phyliss Sorese Mosca of Ulla Popken, vice president, membership—catalogers; and Ralph Drybrough of MeritDirect, vice president, membership—suppliers. Other board members are Terri Alpert of Stony Creek Brands, Lois Brayfield of J.
