Burger King Corp., Miami, continued the reorganization of its marketing staff by announcing a new post for brand veteran Richard Taylor, who becomes vp-alliances and partnerships.
Taylor, who had been vp-global advertising and promotions, continues reporting to senior vp-marketing programs and sales Rick Dow and overseeing senior director-alliance and partnerships DeeDee Drays, senior director-interactive and adult promotions Hal Rossiter, and marketing coordinator Elsi Miller.
Craig Braasch becomes the latest Northwest Airlines alumnus to follow global marketing chief Chris Clouser to BK; the airline's managing director-worldwide advertising and sponsorships replaces Taylor, and will oversee director-merchandising Ben Morse, senior director-advertising and ethnic marketing Andy Bonaparte, and director-youth and family marketing Brian Gies.
Alliances are becoming increasingly important for Burger King, which has recently signed deals with such big-name partners as AOL Time Warner and eBay (Xtra!, Nov. 6 and Nov. 20).
