A private equity investment firm Monomoy Capital Partners L.P. has acquired the catalog, Internet and retail operations of Chadwick’s, Metrostyle and Closeout Catalog Outlet Brands from Redcats USA. Terms have not been disclosed.
A new company has been formed named Women’s Apparel Group LLC to oversee these women’s apparel marketers, headquartered in West Bridgewater, MA.
Chas Hepler was appointed to serve as CEO and David Myles was named chief operating officer for the company, which employs more than 600 people. Both men have more than 20 years of retail experience, most recently with SD Retail Consulting Inc.
Women’s Apparel group reported it generates more than $300 million in annual revenues. Its target market are women ages 25 to 55.
