Manhattan Postal Workers to Take Cipro

The U.S. Postal Service is offering Cipro to seven thousand postal workers in Manhattan, the Associated Press reported. The decision to hand out the anti-anthrax medication occurred after a union leader insisted that post offices be closed if workers tested positive for exposure to anthrax. Cipro will be offered to the six midtown post offices possibly affected by anthrax-tainted mail.
