Fairfax, VA-based Shop2U has introduced a new program designed to help clients find better prospects via e-mail.

The Registration Program, which began testing in late April, allows clients to be included in a regular e-mail sent to the members of the 1.2 million name Shop2U "E-Catalog of the Week" database. Consumers who click on one of the highlighted catalog covers in the e-mail will receive an electronic version of that catalog within 48 hours.

Keith Wardell, founder, president and CEO of Shop2U, noted that response to the early tests has been positive. A "ridealong" version of the program is expected begin testing next month. In that version, recipients will receive an e-mail branded by a catalog they are already a customer of, featuring products from that catalog and an invitation to receive e-catalogs and offers from any one of four highlighted catalogs.
