Jupitermedia Corp., a provider of online information and images, has sold its JupiterResearch division to a JupiterKagan Inc., a subsidiary of MCG Capital Corp. for a reported $10.1 million in cash and assumption of certain liabilities by the purchaser.

The merger creates an organization of more than 100 employees operating out of six major offices in the U.S., U.K., Germany and France.
