The Chicago Chapter of Women in Direct Marketing International has named Janet Barker-Evans its Direct Marketing Woman of the Year.
Barker-Evans is senior vice president and group creative director at Draft’s Chicago office. She has specialized in the digital media space, and has supervised development of Web sites since 1998. She has also created some of the first online/offline integrated marketing programs for Draft clients. She has been with Draft for 12 years.
Barker-Evans also oversees some of Draft’s pro bono efforts, and sits on the board of the Little City Foundation. She has served as an adjunct professor at Governors State University, and as assisted with extern- and internship programs through Southern Illinois University.
She will be honored at a June 29 luncheon at Chicago’s University Club.
