Harte-Hanks Acquires Print-On-Demand Service Provider

Harte-Hanks Inc. has acquired digital printing capabilities from PrintSmart Inc., a print-on-demand firm based in East Bridgewater, MA. Terms of the purchase were not disclosed.

The acquired assets will be combined with Harte-Hanks own East Bridgewater digital printing operations.

“The ‘communications on demand’ digital printing needs of our clients continue to increase,” said Jim Davis, Harte-Hanks’ corporate officer and senior vice president, in a statement. “Our ownership of certain PrintSmart’s POD assets will help us keep pace with new capabilities, equipment and processes which optimize the opportunities for print on demand.”
