American Express Publishing will take an equity stake in Foofoo.com, a start-up Web site specializing in upscale products, services and content. Financial terms were not disclosed.
The agreement allows editorial content from such American Express Publishing magazines as Food & Wine, Travel & Leisure, SkyGuide, and Departures to be incorporated into the Foofoo site. It also allows American Express Publishing to expand its online presence.
