Focus Worldwide has added Italian consumer and business-to-business list offerings through an alliance with M.L.S., a list brokerage and data company in Milan, Italy.
The files identify a total of more than 7 million Italian direct mail buyers. A 16 million-record lifestyle database is available as well.
Besides these properties, Focus will market an Italian business-to-business database, e-mail addresses and an insert media program in the United States.
The deal with M.L.S. follows a recent loosening of data restrictions in Italy. According to Focus Worldwide, the Italian government modified its restrictive interpretation of the European Union’s data law to increase data availability and encourage more direct marketing.
